About the TAG Heuer CBU5051.FT6272
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport | F1 75th Anniversary Limited Edition CBU5051.FT6272 debuted in 2025 as a limited edition of 75 pieces commemorating the 75th anniversary of Formula 1. Each watch is individually engraved with a championship year from 1950 to 2024, paying tribute to the 75 Formula 1 World Champions.
The 44 mm case is crafted from fine-brushed and sandblasted Grade 2 titanium, paired with a fixed tachymeter bezel in solid 18 K 3N yellow gold. Black DLC Grade 5 titanium crown and pushers complete the construction, while a beveled sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment ensures durability and clarity. The sandblasted titanium case back, also coated in black DLC, features a sapphire window adorned with a golden victory wreath and special engravings. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
The openworked dial reveals the in-house Calibre TH20-09 Tourbillon, framed by a black flange with a 60-second scale and silver “Formula 1” and “F1 75” markings. Rhodium-plated faceted hour markers and hands with white Super-LumiNova ensure legibility, complemented by gold-plated chronograph hands and a 6 o’clock flying tourbillon. A subtle checkered-flag motif beneath the sapphire crystal reinforces the racing theme.
Powering the watch is the self-winding Calibre TH20-09 Tourbillon, featuring a column wheel, vertical clutch, and a 65-hour power reserve. The movement beats at 28,800 vph and showcases refined finishing visible through the transparent back.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport | F1 75th Anniversary Limited Edition CBU5051.FT6272 is fitted with a black rubber strap secured by a black DLC titanium folding clasp with double safety push-buttons.
