About the Patek Philippe 5723/112R-001
The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5723/112R-001 is a joaillerie variant of the Nautilus collection, distinguished by the use of baguette-cut rubies in both the bezel and dial furniture.
The watch is housed in a rose gold case measuring 40 mm across (10–4 o’clock) and 8.7 mm in thickness. The octagonal bezel is set with 32 baguette-cut rubies totaling 4.0 carats. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. The case is fitted with a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal case back.
The dial features a sunburst brown finish with a black-gradient rim and a horizontally embossed pattern. Hour markers consist of 12 baguette-cut rubies totaling 0.24 carats, applied in rose gold settings. Time is indicated by rose gold rounded baton-style hands filled with white luminescent material. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock.
The watch is powered by the self-winding Caliber 26-330 S C. The movement measures 27 mm in diameter and 3.32 mm in thickness, comprises 212 components and 30 jewels, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. It provides a power reserve of approximately 35 to 45 hours and features a stop-seconds mechanism. Winding is handled by a 21K gold central rotor, with regulation via a Gyromax balance and a Spiromax balance spring. The movement bears the Patek Philippe Seal.
