About the Patek Philippe 5711/111P-001
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/111P-001 is a joaillerie execution of the Nautilus three-hand model, distinguished by sapphire setting and a platinum case.
The watch is housed in a platinum Nautilus case measuring 40 mm in diameter (10–4 o’clock) with a thickness of 8.3 mm. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres. A screw-down crown is fitted, and sapphire crystals are used on both the dial side and the case back. A diamond is set into the case at 6 o’clock.
The octagonal bezel is set with 32 baguette-cut sapphires with a combined weight of approximately 4.00 carats. The dial is finished in sunburst charcoal grey with a black-gradient rim and horizontal embossing. Applied white-gold baton hour markers are set with 12 baguette-cut sapphires totaling approximately 0.24 carat. White-gold rounded baton hands with white luminescent coating indicate the time. In total, the watch incorporates 44 baguette-cut sapphires with a combined weight of approximately 4.24 carats.
Powering the watch is the self-winding calibre 26-330 S C. The movement measures 27 mm in diameter and 3.32 mm in thickness, comprises 212 components and 30 jewels, and operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz). It provides sweep seconds, a date display, and a stop-seconds mechanism, with a power reserve specified between approximately 35 and 45 hours. Winding is via a 21K gold central rotor. The movement incorporates a Gyromax balance, a Spiromax balance spring, and bears the Patek Philippe Seal.
