About the Breitling A173761B1B1A1
The Breitling Superocean Automatic 44 Collingwood A173761B1B1A1, introduced in 2026, was created in connection with Breitling’s partnership with the Collingwood Football Club. Produced as a limited edition of 125 pieces, the watch is based on the modern Superocean generation, itself inspired by the 1960s “Slow Motion” dive watch concept developed for maximum underwater legibility.
The stainless steel case measures 44 mm in diameter and 12.62 mm in thickness. It features a screw-down crown, a solid screw-in case back, and a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water resistance is rated at 300 meters. A unidirectional ratcheted bezel surrounds the dial for elapsed-time measurement.
The dial is black with white indexes and hands, following the modern Superocean design language characterized by broad hands and large luminous hour markers. References to the Collingwood Football Club are intentionally subtle: the central seconds hand features a gold-coloured tip, and the stainless steel case back is engraved with the club’s logo.
Powering the watch is the automatic Breitling Caliber 17, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours and 26 jewels.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet and has an approximate total weight of 184 grams, with the watch head weighing approximately 89.6 grams.
